Both Sandyhills and Baillieston Veterinary Clinics are open
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm
Saturday 8.30am – 12noon (Baillieston Clinic Only)

Consultations are available at various times between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Consultations are available between 9am-11.30 on Saturday mornings.

Emergency out-of-hours care
Out of hours emergency care is provided by Vets Now Hospital Glasgow, 123-145 North Street, Glasgow, G3 7DA . 0141 332 3212.
An out of hours emergency consultation will cost £218 at Vets Now Hospital Glasgow.
No patients are hospitalised at either of ScotVets clinics overnight, all patients requiring overnight care will be transferred by the owner to Vets Now Hospital Glasgow, 123-145 North Street, Glasgow, G3 7DA. Estimates will be discussed in advance of any patient transfer to Vets Now Hospital Glasgow.
Fee & Charging Structures
All veterinary consultations will incur a charge. A standard consultation with a Veterinary Surgeon is £52.50. Members of our unlimited lifetime care club do not pay for consultation fees.
All payments are due at time of treatment. Further information on the prices of consultations, procedures and medicines is available on request.
No direct claims are offered through the practice unless a pre-authorisation can be completed in advance of treatment.
Claims can be submitted to your insurance company, this will incur an administration fee of £17 for new claims and £14.50 for continuation claims. For more information please ask at reception.
Prescriptions are available from this practice
You may obtain Prescription Only Medicines Veterinary, (POM-Vs) from your veterinary surgeon OR ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy.
Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe POM-Vs only for animals under their care.
A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary.
You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be dispensed for your animal.
The policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions is a maximum of 6 months. The standard charge for a re-examination is £47.50.

Please return any unused or expired medication to the clinic for safe disposal.
Procedures for second opinions and referrals
If you would like to request a second opinion either within the ScotVet team or by attending another veterinary clinic, please inform the team.
Referrals can be made to specialist veterinary clinics if treatment is required for specialist conditions outwith the treatment options available within ScotVet.
